TSH receptor autoantibody (TRAb) radioimmunoassay kit RIA
Identify Graves’ disease
Use for prognostic value after antithyroid drug therapy or after thyroidectomy
Detect hyperthyroidism in newborns whose mothers suffer from Graves’ disease
Detect certain cases of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, subacute thyroiditis or silent thyroiditis in thyrotoxicosis phase
- ACCURATE AND RELIABLE ASSAY
The principle of the assay is based on competition between anti-TSH receptor autoantibodies (TRAb) in the samples with the TSH receptor adsorbed onto the tube walls for binding sites on 125-iodine radiolabeled TSH.
Assay procedure: 2 h at RT / shaking + 60 min at RT / shaking.
Working range: 0.33 – 40 U/L (1st IS 90/672)
Sample: serum – 100 µL
Analytical sensitivity: 0.33 U/L
Functional sensitivity: 0.8 U/L
|TRAB values U/L||% population||Status|
|1,1< - > 1,5||Grey zone|
