Free ß subunit of HCG immunoradiometric assay kit RIA
The ELSA-FbHCG kit is an immunoradiometric assay of the free ßHCG subunit for the diagnosis and monitoring of trophoblastic tumors (placental or testicular).
Use as tumor marker in trophoblastic tumors of placental origin – moles, chorionic carcinoma, chorioepithelioma
Use as tumor marker in trophoblastic tumors of testicular origin – seminomatous germ cell tumors or non seminomatous tumors having a trophoblastic component
Diagnosis and monitor trophoblastic tumors
Detect therapeutic escape and metastatic spread early
- SPECIFIC AND ULTRASENSITIVE ASSAY
- NO CROSS-REACTIONS WITH LH, TSH, FSH OR NATIVE HCG
Two monoclonal antibodies are used for the sandwich. The first one is adsorbed onto the ELSA solid phase, while the second one, radiolabeled with iodine-12,5 is used as the tracer.
Assay procedure: 1h at RT / shaking + 2h at RT / shaking.
Working range: 0.04 – 50 ng/mL (1 ng CIS = 1 mIU;IRP 75/551)
Sample: serum or EDTA plasma – 100 µL
Analytical sensitivity: 0.04 ng/mL
|Population||n||FßHCG levels ng/mL|
|Females: follicular phase||50||<0.1|
|Females: ovulatory phase||50||<0.1|
|Females: luteal phase||50||<0.1|
