Assay principle: sandwich
The receptors radiolabeled with iodine-125 are incubated with test sera and any resulting complexes of labeled receptor and receptor antibody are immunoprecipitated with anti-human immunoglobulin. After centrifugation and washing, the precipitate is counted.
Assay procedure: 2h at RT + 2h or 18-24h at 2-8°C + centrifugation 20 min + centrifugation 20 min à TA.
